​Immersive Education Academy is starting its comprehensive program for students at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Mrs. Fung Wong Fung Ting College. The online program delivers a 16-week enriched learning experience. The e-learning platform extends learning beyond the classroom by connecting students with the program’s team of native English speaking instructors conveniently. “My spelling improved and I have fewer spelling mistakes after [participating] in this program last year. I like speaking with foreigners. I felt excited to speak to them through the Internet. The experience was amazing,” expressed Jasmine Li, a Form 2D student from Mrs. Fung Wong Fung Ting College.

Students and teachers are interconnected in ways in class and just as much outside of class. Students in the program are able to seek for online assistance on assignments after school. Schools can also provide students with a unique opportunity outside of class to go on a virtual field trip to apply the skills they have learned in real-life situations.
 
iEd’s goal is to widen the students’ exposure outside of Hong Kong.
 
Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Mrs. Fung Wong Fung Ting College, located in Shatin District, is a government-subsidized secondary public school. Founded in 1978, currently managed by Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, the co-ed school’s motto is Diligence, Frugality, Loyalty and Faithfulness.
